In fact, the skills companies are looking for now are most developed in creative and liberal arts education pursuits.
LinkedIn recently analyzed hiring trends across its platform using company data from 660+ million professionals and 20+ million job listings to determine both the hard and soft skills companies need most.
For the second year in a row, LinkedIn analysis finds creativity to be ranked the highest in-demand skill.
As technical tasks become outsourced to computing and AI, it is the ability to think creatively and look at issues in new ways that distinguish the college graduates companies want to hire.
