Signed into law on May 29th, 2020, the Never Again Education Act provides Holocaust education to standardize and correctly implement Holocaust education across the country. The bill provides two million dollars a year for five years to improve Holocaust education and to cement its place within the broader education system by providing grants to school systems who show interest in creating a Holocaust education program. It also allows for further research into the benefits of Holocaust education. The bill was co-sponsored by 205 Democrats and 97 Republicans and was supported by the Holocaust Museum. The passage of this bill is intended to give justice to those who died in the Holocaust, their relatives, and all those affected by the miseducation concerning the Holocaust.
